
Micaela Alpers
Micaela Alpers joins the AmeriSoft advisor board with a decade of experience higher education, coaching, and career development. She is the President of Career TEAM’s education division, partnering with institutions to develop career readiness programs for students of all backgrounds. Prior to this role, she served as National Director of Sales for McGraw Hill Education.
Alpers completed the Accomplishment Coaching leadership training program in 2013 and she is a certified trainer in the Aha! Process, Bridges Out Of Poverty program. She is also a Cum Laude graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in International Business.
With a personal mission statement of, “supporting people in creating fulfilled and abundant lives,” Alpers strongly believes that education is a gateway to empowerment, and most of all – choice! As such, she is most excited about sharing AmeriSoft mission of supporting education with businesses and individuals with similar interest.
Danny was a founder/co-owner of web-hosting firm, Bluehost which was sold to EIG in 2010. Danny then co-founded BlueZoneLabs which provides DIY SEO services. He received his undergraduate degree in computer science from BYU in 1996. Bluehost was founded in 2004 and has grown to host over more than 2 million websites worldwide and over 700 employees. Along with being an integral part of Bluehost, Danny has also continued in his passion for entrepreneurship in the community. He serves as a mentor for rising entrepreneurs through BoomStartup, a local accelerator ranked in the top 15 best accelerators in the U.S.
Nickolaisen is an experienced, innovative technology and operations leader. He has authored and published on topics of strategic planning, business/IT innovation, process improvements, and improved decision making. He is currently the CTO at OC Tanner, but previously served as the CIO of Western Governors University (WGU). He was voted as one of the top IT Executives of 2008 by CRN magazine and received an innovation award for the advanced analytics at WGU. He holds a BS and MBA in Physics from Utah State University and a MS in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
